The team gave a very good performance at Heavy Woollens, in the opening round of the Junior County Competition.

After a slow start against Leeds, they recovered to win their final 2 matches against the hosts, Heavy Woollens and then East Lancashire.

Man of the match was Jack Lindsay, followed closely by Liam Mercer.

The first county game of 2010 will take place on Sunday, the 2nd May at Heavy Woollens. The matches will be played in Heckmondwike and the coach will leave the Town Hall at 09:00am.

Players please note the dress code, you must wear either grey or black trousers. We have new county shirts this season and players will need to pay a £5 deposit for the shirt. This will be refunded when the shirt has been given back to the officials.
