There was some excellent bowling, enjoyed by a good spectator audience from the general public, as well as parents and relations.
In the bowling, there were one or two surprises, the biggest being the defeat of "favourites" Kyle Kirby & Ben Stapleton, by the eventual winners Chris & Shantelle Harvey. The Harvey's went on to beat Daniel Geldart & Chris Wilson 21-11 in the Semi Final and then met Jordon Duckworth & Joe Howarth in the Final, which Shantelle & Chris won 21-12. The two Wardle players had come all the way from the Preliminary round to get to the Final and they had beaten Garry Smith & Calvin Marlor in the S/F by 21-16.
So congratulations to Shantelle and Chris and many thanks to Queens Park for hosting the event.

The League Merits will be held, next Sunday 27th July, at New Street, for both divisions.
The competition is open to all players, who have played at least one game this season.
